    David Godchaux


    A global Real Estate professional with active interests in Investment Advisory, Brokerage, Asset Management and Property Management in emerging markets, David holds the position of CEO at Core Savills. Prior to joining Core Savills in 2014, David held various positions at NAI Global where he served as CEO to spearhead the firm’s Russia office, and increased its operations from 25 to 1,900 employees across 9 cities in Eastern Europe and Russia. In addition, David was previously Chairman of NAI Global’s Members Board for Europe, Middle East and Africa and was a member of the Global Leadership Board, where he was advising on emerging markets. He also joined their international team as Vice President and Managing Director - International License Sales, where he was responsible for all new international office license sales and on-boardings.

    David started his career in the treasury department of Caisse d'Epargne, France’s second largest bank, and his experience also includes working with AXA IM in the product development department in Paris.

    David holds a Masters Degree in Banking and Finance (Hons) from the University of Paris I, Sorbonne; a Bachelors Degree in Economics (Hons) and a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy and Formal Logics.

    He was a finalist for the ‘Commercial Real Estate Person of the Year’ award in Moscow for two consecutive years in 2012 and 2013. He ranked seventh in the list of the most influential real estate professionals in the city and in the top 100 most influential personalities of the real estate industry in Russia.

    With extensive knowledge of international real estate markets, Edward began his real estate career in 1997 in Sydney, Australia, prior to relocating to London in 2003 to work with Savills PLC.

    At Savills, he was involved in the sales and marketing of a number of landmark developments in prime central London. In 2005, he moved to Dubai with responsibility for the sales and marketing of the Bonnington Hotel residences in Jumeirah Lakes Towers.

    Edward co-founded Core Commercial in 2008. As Managing Director and an expert on UAE property, he has overseen the growth of the company and was responsible for the development of its various divisions. During his career, Edward has developed an extensive global network and a unique client mix. As such, he was instrumental in building Core Real Estate's partnership with Savills, as the company became the global leader's chosen associate for the UAE.

    David began his real estate career in Sydney, Australia and entered the UAE in 2005 working for Dubai Properties, a semi-government real estate pioneer developer, responsible for master community developments. He established Dubai Properties' auction house, which was responsible for sales of more than AED 1 billion. David was also involved with corporate sales and the strategic development of Business Bay before joining H&H Investments and Developments, where he oversaw the ongoing sales and leasing of a five million sq. ft. mixed-use portfolio.

    In 2008, David co-founded Core Commercial and has since been involved in the leasing of more than two million square feet of commercial space in Dubai, with property sales surpassing AED 1.5 billion. With strong local networks and client relationships across the UAE, David is the point of contact for many of the emirate's most influential commercial property investors and landlords.

    A seasoned Dubai real estate professional and Commercial Manager, Joel is the Head of Commercial at Core Savills, taking a strategic role in leading the firm’s expert Sales & Leasing teams.

    With a comprehensive knowledge of the local real estate market and business strategy, the Australian joined Core Savills from the FTSE 250 company, Regus Group PLC, having led the global corporate real estate group’s Dubai business as Area Director.

    Under Joel’s leadership, the team at Regus maintained a plus 90 percent occupancy rate, with a 100 percent client satisfaction score across a diverse corporate client base.

    Joel is a highly skilled commercial real estate broker and advisor, with the ability to reduce commercial real estate costs by providing bespoke, efficient and flexible workplace solutions to his clients.
